We met at just 13 years old and quickly became best friends—sharing laughs, making memories, talking about our dreams, and simply being there for one another. We never imagined that one day we would become so much more.
Eventually, life took us in different directions. We both joined the military and spent six years living separate lives. Even with all that time and distance between us, there was always something about our connection that never completely went away.
Six years later, we found our way back to each other, and it felt like no time had passed. Our connection sparked again, and we fell in love with the person who had once been our best friend.
